    Multiple PPTs per month?

As long as I stay out of LA City, I can do as many PPTs a month as I want, right?

I'll be doing one PPT today, a new purchase tomorrow at a different store(already paid for, just waiting for my 30 days to be up) and possibly another PPT next week sometime.

Is there a legal issue with doing this much purchasing in such close proximity?

Lastly, is Metroshot in LA City and therefore constrained by the 30 days no matter what kind of transfer it is?

    Thanks!

PPT's are not subject to the one every 30 days rule for Handguns.

I thought PPT's were not limited by the 30 day rule. I could be wrong though.

If L.A. has some proprietary law concerning how many PPT's you can do, I don't know. As for the rest of the state, it doesn't matter how many PPT's you do in any time frame. I have one customer that does at least 3 PPT's a week.

Cool. Yes, LA CITY has a one handgun purchase per 30 days law whether it be new or PPT.

I was mostly curious if there were any red flags raised by doing so much purchasing so close together, but if that dude is doing 3 a week without issue, I'm totally fine!!

            Metroshot

Metroshot is in the Incorporated City of San Fernando not LA. You would also be good to go in Burbank,Glendale, or Culver City. The City of LA sucks, no ammo to be shipped in except to 01ffl, no ammo sold without registration and fingerprint.

Yeah, but look how low the violent crime rate is in L.A. compared to it's surrounding cities.

I heard from one of FFL's I use that if you purchase (run DROS, or take delivery of) more than 2 handguns within 5 days, the FFL has to report it to ATF (or Fed?). Though I haven't seen this to be enforced at all. Someone please clarify if you know of.

I think that is a Federal rule not a state rule. I had an FFL in another state tell me that same thing. But in Cali you have to register them all anyway so who cares.

This is true. And I have never had a problem with it. I met someone who claimed ATF questioned him though when purchasing 16 handguns at one time. You know all the LA rules like only one PPT and such, would it be technically illegal for a city of LA resident to buy 3 PPT guns for example out of the city limits?
