    Few Glock Questions

    1) Why no led? How do you know if the bullets you are shooting are led?
2)What is Hexagonal Rifling? And what are the pros and cons?

    1) hexagonal rifling. the no lead part means they don't want any lead touching the barrel, see below. Look at the ammo box, does it list it as ful metal jacket FMJ or TMJ and it is copper colored? - if so then it is jacketed and no lead will touch the barrel. If it is grey, stay away. there are copper washed or plated bullets as well, don't know what the story is on them with and glocks.
    2) Can build up lead fouling leading to excessive pressure and your gun blowing up. Provides less open space than traditional rifling leading to higher velocities. Maybe a few other pros and cons but those are off the top of my head.

The pros of polygonal rifling is it is supposed to be more accurate, but as stated it tends to build up lead much quicker, so with a stock barrel stick to jacketed bullets, or buy a lwd barrel for 99$ and shoot all the lead you want.

Are hollow points lead? (I noticed mine were not all copper colored)

Depends on the brand but generally speaking, they are jacketed.
