Congrats!! I bought my XD9 at the end of November. Great gun!! I was considering the Glock, but the XD won because the grip fit my hand perfectly and comfortably. I like it more than the M&P as well. I am sure you got a better deal, as the prices up here seemed to be a bit more than those in SoCal when I bought mine.

I bought my XD9 Service used a year ago and have put 1600 trouble free rounds thru it.
