    Intratec Tec DC9

I know they have a junk rep but I've always loved the way they look. Is there a Cali legal version, perhaps with some sort of bb?? Anyone have one here can chime in I'm aware they haven't been made in a while, just curious ?? If so please post pics also.

My RAW version (AB-10) is alot of fun. I'm sure you could get one with a mag-lock. I've seen them from time to time in the calguns marketplace.

they do look nice and they are much more comforable to shoot than a mac-11 but the barrel quality is not there

the magazines are often more robust and easier to load with the tec-9 series

Yours looks awesome, so it is possible? That's great news now I have to look. I'm thinking about paying under 450 is that too high?

What kind of configuration would I need to have a Cali legal version of the dc9? Besides a bb, ten round mag??

i never understood the fascination with these. of all the ones i have shot (tec9 models) they have never failed to prove themselves to be unreliable

i have never seen one with a bullet button, i think they are banned by name and doubt anyone makes a nameless version.

I thought those were awesome around the time ppl were going crazy after Columbine. It was replaced in my mind and heart with the Kel Tec PLR16.

The Tec-9 is banned by name, but the AB-10 was banned by feature and can be made legal with a mag lock.

So the ab10 is cool I get that it was made to be ca compliant after the ban. I understand the dc9 is banned but didn't a lot of ppl already own them in ca already? What became of those? Did they also become illegal to posses?

Does anyone here own a ca compliant dc9? not an ab10

Back in the day we used to call it "The TEC-9 automatic jamming device". I owned one new - I couldn't get it to fire more than three rounds at a time of factory ball ammo without it jamming. Sold it and was glad to see it go (found the 26 year old receipt for the sale the other day...). While it looks cool and wicked, it was anything but.

You just have to know how to run them. They are very sensitive to limp wristing and ammo (the hotter the better). A single point sling really helps since it allows you to really lock it in place. I can run mine like in the video (thats me) all day long.
