Ordering a gun from Buds

So I want to order one from Buds, but it's not on the roster. Can I have it shipped to a FFL to do the SSE?

Buds will not ship off roster to CA.

They will also not ship to a third party FFL outside of CA for a CA resident. (Sometimes they will do this but sometimes not...luck of the draw)

I have heard of peoples setting up their Buds online accounts to reflect an OREGON state address....ordering a gun shipped to Table Rock Arms and sending Buds a money order as pmt with the OREGON address. That way Buds has no idea what your home state is and Table Rock will do the SSE and ship or simply re-ship to your FFL in CA for the SSE.

I would just find the gun at another online seller who will ship to CA...they are out there and many have better prices than Buds.

So, I just remembered my Uncle is a FFL dealer in Florida. I told him about the 1911 I wanted (Sig Scorpion or Kimber Desert Warrior). I'll report back as soon as I hear back from him
