MVS that 21SF sounds like a great choice for a .45, wouldn't mind having one myself, but from what I read I understand I can't use my legal G21 13 rounder mags in it, new mags in old G21 yes, but not old mag to new SF.

Old mags won't work with the ambi-release but will with the standard release that's why I got the standard model. Besides, none of my other guns have an ambi-release, i've gotten along ok without it all these years. I think the ambi-release is a bit of a gimick since none of the other Glock models have one.

It is so easy to make your old 21 mags work in the new 21sf. You only have to take off a little square of plastic of and they worj in new and old guns.

I believe Turners has Glock 21s on sale now $579.

I'm debating if I should get one or go with a Taurus 24/7pro in .45 - I know about the crappy magazine problem with them but I have a dremel handy.
