Sig P226 9mm w/ Fiber Optic Front Sight

    Good Morning All!

I am about to pick up a Sig P226 w/ Fiber Optic Sights for $859, is this a good deal? Other than shooting in the day, what are these sights for? Can I replace these sights w/ nights sights later on? I am trying to find a good deal but this is the best deal out there than Buds. Looking for some feedback before I make this purchase. Thanks!

Fiber Optic sights will glow in the dark, and I think they're brighter than mepro lights, I just think they're very ugly.

Congrats and welcome to the p226 family

Is this a good deal? Are they removable?

I live in East Bay, I would probably pay $250 more here lol. Either way, i think it's a great deal.

yes, they're removable, but if you don't mind the look, keep it. I'd say they're way better than mepro lights. I had TFOs on my older p226, my new p226 has mepros.

That's about the right price for a sig 226 with night sights...most places charge $879..so yes it's a good deal..you can always change the sights if you don't like it...good luck on the sig...love that gun!

I paid $899 for my Sig p226 BTFO. Combination fiber optic and Tritium sights. I see them better than any other sights I have on other guns. If you take them off I'll take them for my 228.

before i got my 226, i rented a 226 btfo and hated the fiber sights. maybe it was the rental, but i found it didn't work well in the dimly lit target masters west. too bright for the night sights, too dark for the fiber optics.

i'd like to chalk it up to the rental, but can't say for sure.

I have a 226 BTFO and love those sights. They work great in my opinion. Mine came with 4-10 round mags so even better.
