    What 9mm ammo?

So as you guys know, I'm picking up my new G19 on Saturday and I plan on going to the range on Sunday. What ammo should I buy? What brand and should I get 115gr? I will definitely keep you guys updated on how it shoots and hopefully I have a problem free one.

S&B, PMC, WWB, Speer, Federal are some trusty ones to start with.

      Just shoot it.
"Then there are sheepdogs. The sheepdogs are the bastions of safety. The sheepdog lives solely to protect the flock and confront the wolf. They live for the opportunity to be called to duty to protect the innocent. The sheepdog has fangs and the propensity for violence but hopes that he will not have to resort to it. However, he lives for that day when he will be able to use his warrior skills and mindset to keep the wolf from harming the sheep."

          Anything, brass case.

I shoot S&B, PMC, Federal and WWB. But honestly, I'll shoot anything that is not steel.

Whatever is cheapest to be honest. You have a Glock, it will shoot anything.

Best I have found online is the Federal boxes you can get at Walmart and Sellier and Belot or whatever it is. 9 bucks for a box of 50. At walmart the Federal is about 13 if I remember correctly.

Cabela's usually has good sales and 1-5 dollar shipping when there is a special going on. Not really gonna find a better deal than that!

Speer Lawman if you don't like cleaning. Best ammo out there IMO.

I shot 1000 rounds of Wolf when I first got my G17, didn't really notice much difference when cleaning after several hundreds rounds vs brass.

I've shot WWB, Blazer Brass, UMC, and Super X without any problems. I did notice that WWB was the dirtiest while Blazer Brass was the cleanest.

FLAWLS1, I highly recommend checking your local Walmart to see if they have the Federal Champion 9mm Luger 115 grain 100 round value pack available.

They usually have it for $20 which is a steal, the only problem is that they only carry an x amount at a time (At least my local Walmart does). A few months back, I saw it one day and their entire stash depleted the very next day, I was a sad panda, but luckily I swooped on some recently, almost cleaned out what they had at the time.

Again, any brass casing shell rounds will be fine through your G19, I know people say some brands shoots cleaner than others, but in the end you're going to clean your firearm after a day of use anyways so like it really matters. :P
