I have a Colt New Service - about 30% of the bluing on the frame & 50% on the cylinder is gone (looks like a chem spill of some kind) and I want to get it reblued. It will never be any kind of collector gun & unlike honest wear, this just looks awful & unnatural. Colt won't do it - they say it's too old.
I came across a company called Glenrock Bluing out of Wyoming - anyone heard of them or have another suggestion. I know Fords, was interested in an alternative closer to home. I assume there's no one in CA that can do this.
