Sig Mags

I've got a Sig 1911 TacOps in jail right now. The gun comes with four mags. From my understanding, Sig uses Checkmate Hybrid mags. Only hear good things about Checkmates but then there are alot of negative feedback about the Sig 1911 mags. Now I know Sig used to use ACT mags which were hit or miss. Are the negative feedbacks related to the ACT mags or do the Checkmate mags have issues? When I purchased the Sig, the mags looked like quality mags. Can anyone who has the Sig Checkmate mags please chime in and give their opinions on them? Much appreciated.
