CZ 75 TS Question on safety?

Ok, you rack the slide then engage the slide lock. Now release the lock and move slide foward 1/4" to 3/8" you can then raise the safety and hold the slide open. Now release of the slide is much easier with the safety lever but by doing this , could any damage to the firearm come from this?

Uh, so i don't know if it is different on a SP-01 but I did it for craps and giggles. I could hold the slide open with applying pressure to the safety but I'm still not sure what the purpose of this would be?

I guess I'll wait for my T-shirt in the mail now.

I read that twice and don't understand what you're saying. I have my SP-01 sitting 6" from the keyboard I'm typing this on and I'm not going to try and figure out what you're suggesting.

Ok, can anyone with a CZ hold their slide open without holding pressure on the safety,the safety will be in its normal on position, the slide will be almost all the way back. Just put upwards pressure on safety while sliding the slide backwards..
