I will tell my story: I'm a rookie to handguns and this will be my first handgun a HK p2000.

went today to see if I could pass the HSC, didn't know what to spec. miss 4 answers.

Now it's time to wait. 10days hopefully b4 christmas.

got it from turner's in Norwalk not bad service at all.

Hmmn, what were the four you missed?

Don't take this the wrong way... but if you missed any questions on that test, I highly suggest you spend a little money on a proper NRA introductory course. Every new shooter should do so anyway, but especially if you missed questions on that "test."

yes, I shouldn't miss any question at all. and I have no reason for that. just that I didn't double check the answer. tha question are:

1.know your target and its surroundings and beyond

        2.felony convictions

        3.transfer of guns

        4.don't remember

I was looking for a place to become more of a better handgun owner, and I been reading this forum for the last 3 months, until I register.

now where do I join for a NRA Rookie class.

NRA classes are listed through this link. This is how I found a Basic Shotgun class.

That "test" means nothing, I scored perfect and think everyone should take a course.

I had perfect scores on both the HSC test and its predecessor. However, there were at least one or two questions that I had to answer incorrectly in order to get those scores.

The one I got wrong was the transfer of ownership between children and parents.
