Does anyone have experience buying a gun from them. I just paid off my SA 1911 TRP and waiting for the funds to be settled. Hoping by Wednesday. Doesn anyone know how long they take to ship once it is paid off from layaway? Thanks for the info.

I ordered a shotgun from them on the 27th and they hit my card that night. Still has not shipped... They say to allow 3-7 days for "processing."

It varies. They drop ship, so sometimes it is "out of their hands."

BUDS is 98% great, most of my guns came from them. Send a money order and pay the price you see. CC is + 3%.

I bought my Rem 700 in December through Buds and it arrived at my FFL within a week.

I tried to buy 2 guns from them one time. They charged my card. About a week later i emailed and they said the order was cancelled because my billing was drastically different then my shipping. No contact. Nothing. Took about 2 weeks to have funds returned to my card. Others have had great dealings but i wont be back. You can find everything cheaper if you know where to go. Or dont mind waiting. I know iam in the minority but i wont buy. I went else where and have bought cheaper with better serservice.

Well, ordering from Buds means factoring in FFL fees AND CA sales tax.

Gun genie you also need to factor it in BUT the gun that is sold to you is from the local shop that you pick it up in, so you can return it if it's faulty. More hassle with Buds if you do that.

Also Gun Genie has good prices and you support a local store. I've bought from both.

I love BGS only online gun purchases I make is through them. Sometimes it ships that day sometimes 2-3 days.

Ive ordered 3 handguns from them without a single issue. Even after tax and a transfer fee they can beat local prices!

Out of 4 times, the only issue was that they forgot to sent me a notification that the pistol shipped. They are get an "A" on my book.

No idea. My only recent experience with an out-of-CA gun shop was with Rich's gun shop in Donald Oregon.

Those guys are a class act, and sent my FFL my newly bought gun within a few hours of my purchase.
