So I had just gotten this gun and was stoked to take it to the range today.
First 50 or so rounds go great and I'm loving the gun. I take another shot and see something fly by my head.
I thought it might've been a piece of brass ricocheting off the wall and line up for another shot when I see rear sights but no front. I look closer and the front sight is completely gone.
Eventually, I find it on the ground right behind me and it looks like the roll pin that holds it in place has disappeared.
I slipped it back into it's dovetail channel and the sight pretty much slides right through. No friction or anything to hold it in place. The only thing holding it was the roll pin.
Anyway, I'm super bummed that I won't "get to know" my new toy and i'll have to send this into Springfield to get it fixed
