Kinda screwed myself... Standard Ammo 'Armory'

So I am picking up my RIA 1911 CS today and I have been looking at either a S&W J-frame (637) or a Kahr CW9/40/45. I really want a 9mm for budget shooting but I screwed up thinking I should have bought all guns in one caliber for 'universal ammo usage'. Who here has a million guns in a million different calibers and a million boxes of different cal. ammo stored? Am I just having OCD? Lol maybe I will just go with the CW40 to go along with my Glock 23. (I have been eyeballing the Glock 36 Slim though. )

Not sure what you are asking, but having guns in multiple calibers is not really an issue. Yeah, it means you have another caliber of ammo to have on hand, but it's not that big of a deal. You'll limit yourself if only buying guns in one caliber.

Now, if you are putting together a package of weapons for say SHTF for you and your spouse, then deciding on standard calibers and even platforms can be a positive.

I guess I was just making a statement as well as wondering how many people do vs don't want to standardize thier arms. I have no problem with many calibers on hand. But I think I might start to standardize one day.
