Thumbs up man. I have a S&W 1911PD on the way and I'm looking forward to stripping it and putting it back together like I did my old RIA 1911 GI.

      That's excellent.
I would have parkerized the parts before I put it together though.

Very cool animation. No hands getting in the way blocking parts when they're being installed.

Really outstanding. Now I'll finally take the "plunge" w/ my 1911 (been a little "intimidated" until now). Thanks, chief!

That is cool! But! My preference on the final slide assembly. I would have put the barrel in the slide, then the barrel bushing, then the guide rod then the spring, then install the upper on the frame, then lock it up with the slide stop. To finish the assembly the recoil spring plug will be last. Still a very cool video.

When's the last time you stripped your glock to all of its parts and put it back together?

Cool animation, but there's a mistake. Hammer needs to be in the cocked position in order to install the thumb safety.
