Hello,
I am interested in getting a 1911 Long Slide and have narrowed it down to 2 offerings. SA Loaded, PX9628LP, and the RIA 6" Match. Is the $400 difference in price worth it? These will be range only pistols.
I currenty own a RIA 5" Match and really enjoy shooting it so the Long Slide would be the same gun but 1" longer. I prefer the carbon steel of the RIA and it comes with a Match grade barrel.
With the SA Loaded, I am not a fan of SS and I prefer not to have forward serrations on the slide.
Should I save the money and go with the RIA and spend the difference on shooting lessons and reloading supplies?
Thanks for your input.
