    Which CZ to get?

I plan on getting a cz here in a few weeks. I am looking for some voices of opinion. I am currently looking at either a combat 85 with a factory trigger job, or a 75 shadow t. The 85 with the trigger job is about $250 less than the shadow for what's its worth. I know the shadow is the hot newness, but 85's are few and far between. Thoughts?

Edit: I am not concerned with on/off list. I am putting together a cz order for my shop and am looking for something to keep on the books... for me. I am not looking for a "any cz will do" answer. I am looking for constructive substantial recommendations. Thank you again.

Well considering that neither of them are on the roster, whatever you can get would be the one to go with. The target models with the adjustable Kensight Sights cost more than the standard CZ's.

The most expensive one you can find.

And leave the pricetag on it.

I'd have to agree with you. I bought a CZ rimfire rifle (453), and it is awesome for the money (or any money). I want one of their handguns.

Good luck finding any CZ's, let alone off roster ones.

Well, if he know's a LEO (or is one himself) he could have one imported and have that LEO do the DROS then some time later, do a PPT with that LEO.

But man, the whole...which is better, which should I get thing is gettin old.

Stockhade and Fowler Gun Room usually have CZ, but their price is little high compare to other gun stores.

Good luck on finding one. I had to give up on my dreams of a RAMI and got a P-01 instead...

I just did a massive CZ search. From what I've learned, new shipment to dealers "should" be in within 90 days. Slim pickings right now.

Did a newbie CZ shoot off at the range tonight:

                        75B -- hated the trigger
75 P01 -- loved it, felt nice and tight in my hands, easily controllable, shot better than the 75B
75 SP01 Shadow -- the best, shows off all of my shooting problems

gonna have to buy the P01 as a fun range gun -- so natural and easy to shoot I started putting rounds through it faster. For me, it was more accurate and enjoyable to shoot than the SP2022, P229, G19. Damn, and I just ordered a Glock 17 Gen 4 as my fun range gun.
