AR Pistol BATFE or ATF Letter (s)

I've searched and havent been able to come up with any letters regarding the furniture on AR Pistols. This thread is being created for a way to get quick responses for 'searching' ATF AR Pistol related letters.

So if anyone can link me to BATFE letters (which I've seen on here before) for the CAA Cheek Saddle, Magpul AFG, and the FABtech MWG or anything else we put on our pistol that would be helpful for me and many other calgunners.

      Use the Search Luke!

      CAA Saddle:

      AFG:

      MWG:

Note that the CAA Saddle may have CA issues (its been debated on this forum) since it may run into trouble with CA's separate SBR ban where an ATF letter is probably irrelevant. Decide your own level of risk. No one wants to be the CA test case..... The other two should be fine. (I am not a lawyer)

Thanks for the posts! I now have all 3 docs printed and in my AR pistol case.

I'm tracking that CAA Saddle concern, but don't you think that if the ATF says it doesn't make a pistol an SBR that it is in compliance with CA law?

ATF opinions on what would be considered a Federally-defined SBR are completely separatre from what CADOJ and the 58DAs think regardingi the CA-definition of an SBR.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
