I feel like crying, not literally but my favorite gun died on me today, at the range. I am looking for a gunsmith that can help repair my star modelo. I have diagnosed the problem as a firing pin spring failure. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a gunsmith that can repair it in a timely manner? Thank you all very much.

What variant Super is it, A, D, P, SM etc? What calibre?
Numrich lists a firing pin spring for one or two of the models. http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/...0C&catid=11059"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
"What we get away with isn't usually the same as what's good for us"
"An extended slide stop is the second most useless part you can put on a 1911"
"While Ruger DA revolvers may be built like a tank, they have the aesthetics of one also,
although I suppose there are a few tanks which I owe an apology to for that remark" -

Try joining the Spanish Gun Forum forum http://forums.gunboards.com/forumdis...h-Pistol-Board. Post your request for help, member of the forum "Star" is in Spain and can possibly help. He's helped me on several occasions with my Star pistols. If that doesn't work PM me I have a gunsmith in Colorado that specializes in Star pistols.Comment
