    My *new* pistol (beretta 21A)

Got my DOJ letter that it transfered fine and is registered to me, so pics of the newest piece in my collection!

    Penny included for reference size

Not bad for the price, though it's not good for much!

My buddy has one. I love shooting it. It's a fun little gun. Don't know if I'd trust my life to it, but it'd definitely be better than hiding in the fetal position.

Congratulations! I use a 21A for deep concealment and it works great for me. I used to pack an aluminum frame .38, but the 21A is way more easy to conceal. Put some good hot .22LR loads in your 21A and you'll have a package that will do the job at very close range. Test a number of different loads to find which is best for your pistol. Mine likes Aguila Hyper Velocity best.

i wish mine was .22lr, it's .25, so it's not real cheap to plink with. (when compared to .22lr)

Yah, I got mine as a plinker, and it's been fine for that. Reliability's not great but not so bad. The sights are terrible and accuracy is mediocre on mine, but it's fun.

The sights on mine are identical to a BL3 i use for trap and hunting, i love it. I'm not so accurate with it, it's got a funky pull, I way to used to glocks.

I always wanted one of those- I had an Astra Cub years and years ago, which I liked, aside from the fact it was a .22 short, and not an LR.
A 21A would be my permanent range-bag gun

Congratulations on youe new fun little gun. I've got 2 21As in 22lr and a 950 in .25. But, none of mine have wood grips. Let us know how it shoots. The .22s are a lot cheaper to shoot but tend to jam up more.

It shoots great, I've had it for several years, just finally got around to switching it into my name.

Keep the chamber clean and run good quality .22LR through it and it will be reliable and lots of fun! Winchester Super X, 40gr, copper washed (X22LR) works best in mine. Stingers also are lots of fun but can get expensive. I've also made a habit of making sure the top round is not completely "captured" by the feed lips on magazine by lifting the nose of the bullet up slightly before inserting mag. This seems to have solved the first round hang ups that are sometimes common with this little pistol. HTH have fun and be safe. c good

I see them at Sportsmen's Supply pretty regularly. I don't pay a lot of attention to the new prices, but I think they're in the $300 range. All the new ones I've seen have plastic grips and a matte black finish, rather than the nicer wood and blue of the older ones. I don't think the .22 is on The List, though.

This is another example of The List limiting availability of inexpensive guns in California. They're readily available used in Free America in the $150-200 range.
