              my first hand gun was bought in a reno pawnshop a day after i got married.
              the pawn shop found a ca ffl dealer by my house then the pawn shop shipped it to my ffl and then i started my dros on it. i didnt even have a hsc card until i got back to california.

                Were you having any kind of discussion around magazine parts kits? Such as, telling the guy he could just disassemble the mags and send it to your FFL?

                If so, it was probably an excuse to not do that either due to policy or fear of getting in trouble.

                Just a guess. Irregardless, fud and move on.
