Ever try a RAM? The reset isn't as good as a Glock's but it's still pretty good.

I have both. 9mm Glock reliability is as good as it gets in Gen 3.

I personally shoot the M&P slightly better.

If my M&P makes 10k with no breakage, I'll probably switch over to it for primary.

The ergos of a Glock suck. The trigger reset is awesome.

      Can't go wrong with either.

I had an M&P and got rid of it, due to the trigger(even with Apex sear) breaking at the last 1/32" of the travel. I have monster mitts for hands, so it did not work for me. I have a G-17 and a G-34 and both work OK for me.
Do yourself a favor and rent both guns a few times before buying, that way you'll have a bit of time to reflect on the strengths and weaknesses of each one.

For left handed shooters the M&P is superior Ambi slide releases and switchable mag release on the M&P give it a leg up.

Both are superior pistols. For me, the M&P was more comfortable, easier to shoot, and I was more accurate with it.

Try both, see which one suits YOU better.

Go for the M&P. I love mine. I shoot it a lot better than my buddies G19.

I agree with what a lot of people posted above. If you can....try before you buy.
