    Colt O1991 availability?

How easy is it to come across these at gun shops or order one ordered in a timely manner? I've got a friend who wants a simple GI blued Colt O1991 for his first handgun. Last time I purchased a Colt, I ordered in March :S and didn't have my Colt XSE in my hands til September. I had plenty of guns in the mean time, but this would be a horrible experience for a first time gun owner.

Anyone purchase one of these lately? how long did it take before FFL got it? this handgun is on the roster by the way, not that it matters but it just makes things less of a hassle especially for a first timer.

Exactly what I was going to say. Give gunbroker a try, they have some excellent NIB Colt 01991 for sale right now for under $900.
