        It appears to be a reloaded .45 auto round with a lead hollow point.

            That's definitely a factory WW 185gr Silvertip round. Bullet's waaay beat up though, looks like it's been rechambered multiple times.

            Silvertips were 'da bomb Factory Loads back in the early 1980's. I used/carried them for years until the Federal Hydra-shok came out.
