    Holster for an FNP 40

Does anyone know of a good belt holster, be it a paddle or passive retention, for a FNP 40. People have said to just get one that would fit a SIG P229 because they are very similar in size but Id like someone that actually has first-hand experience with an FN.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

    Kydex:
    Blade tech
    Comp tech
    Raven holsters
    psholsters

    Hybrid:
    Cross Breed
    Glaco

    Leather:
    Milt sparks
    Wilson Combat

I would just buy holster made for FNP rather than using Sig p229 holster.

The only holster to date that I have is the DGS Arms one for the FNP9/40. Fits my 9 perfectly, 40 is really tight. Just slipping it in it cant go all the way. Shoving it in that last .5cm or so and the slide pops backward - pushing the slide into battery and the bottom of the holster opens up about 3mm and its rubbed the slide finish pretty badly.

        XD .45, HK P30, or G21. I just ordered a HK P30 for my FNX40.

There arent very many holster designed specifically for the FNP

COMPLETE universal list of holsters for FNP-9 / FNP-9M *** Great idea from shake55, he did it for fnp45 *** (http://fnforum.net/complete-universal-list-of-holsters-reviews-of-fnp45-holster-t21033.html) I'll start with my experience and a couple of links to other manufacturers related to...

Fn forum has a list. If you like the blackhawk serpa holster, i think they said the Sig Pro 2022 holster fits very well.

Hmm, I would recommend ALS or Blackhawk (ALS being better though overall).

You may have to check Safari's fit chart online though. I'll see if I still have it.

I've read and seen on youtube videos that the XD Holster works perfect...

I just ordered a Blade-tech holster for my FNP40 to try playing in USPSA. I will chime in on how I like it when I get it.

I hate to bump an old thread, but I intend to keep to my word.

Here is the Bladtech Drop-offset holster with tekloc that I will be using for my FNP40 the handgun games at my local range (when my work and school schedule allow for it). I should be able to use it for USPSA production and IDPA if I remove the drop-offset spacer. I did have to put some small washers around the tension bushings/spacers to get the retention level I wanted (it was too loose or too tight without the washers). The mag pouches are Fobus .40 cal Glock/HK and work just fine.
