    Barrel Question

Am I looking at gouging on the rifling?
    What would cause this?

It's a used auto-ordnance 1911. I got it cheap so buying a new barrel is no biggy its just is strange. Never seen it before

If you don't shoot lead & the rest of the rifling is good, should be fine. Shoot it & see how she does....

Should still work, just a greater chance of barrel leading & decreased accuracy.
