From the sound of it you seem excited you can never sell it because you would be a traitor to your screen name.
All you need is the Vickers mag release and slide stop a Scherer butt plug
some Trijicon HD sights and stipple the frame well that's what I would do.

congrats on the 17.
i just picked up a well worn Generation 2 Model 19. it is quickly moving other guns from the range bag, nightstand and carry card. Old sights, holster worn finish and even as a 22 year old gun, shoot great. i love the grip without those finger grooves.Comment

Congratulations, man! Great choice for a first handgun. Glock 17 is pretty much the gold standard for 9mm pistols now. My first handgun was a Sig 226 and I still feel that way about the Glock 17."We're surrounded.....that simplifies our problem."
