The PX4 I would highly suggest handling one in person. The feel of the build materials is... different, compared to SIG, XD, Glock, etc.

You really have to decide on between DA/SA or the XD constant trigger system. I prefer Sigs but in the past year or two I've been loving XD's. Even more than my Glock, unless its in 9mm, at that point I'm going Glock every time.

If it was .40 I'd go XD, otherwise the Sig Pro is an excellent buy. If they both fit nice, then its just deciding on the trigger system you want.

The gun is good. I dont really see the purpose in buying it as a 9mm (in my opinion). The rotating barrel locking system does reduce recoil on the .40 and .45 (everyone I talk to seems to agree it feels different and more controllable). That said, if its your first pistol and you want a 9mm for the sake of saving money, thats a good choice and then I'd see the Px4 as very viable.

Otherwise I'd get it in .40 since it really will utilize that rotation system in a cool way. But like I said, if it fits you and you want a 9mm, go for it. Its a good platform, wish more places had them and rented them.

I have Sig SP2022 and love it, it really comes down to which is safer and/or your preference. Sign has no special safety, da/sa, and hammer fire. XD's have safety features, double action(like glocks), and striker fire. What to choose?

i own a sig pro in 9mm and shot the XD many times and was deciding between the two for my first firearm, i went with sig in the end cause the pro is just like their long proven and reliable P series just with a polymer frame and its a straight pick up and shoot weapon, you dont have to worry about gripping or pulling the trigger the right way to disengaged a saftey. as for caliber its really up to what your comfortable with. if you were to go .40 sw i say the pro cause originally first produced was specifally for the 40sw and 357 sig and the 9mm came many years later as the XD 9mm came first then othe calibers later. with all im saying in the end what ever pistol you choose it should be the one that fits right in your hand and can shoot it comfortably..accuracy will come the more you shoot with it

I'd rather be carried by 6 than judged by 12

I pick it up on Saturday the 25th.
                      I went with the 9mm.

Now all I need is ammo...
