    Korean Glock Mags

I have heard some good things about the Korean Glock mags, but are they legal here in CA? Is there any way to tell if they are preban or not?

Well as long as they are 10rd mags what does it matter if they are preban or not?

Wait, now just hold on one second mister you would not be advocateing importing rebuild kits for mags that you dont own would you?

Well that would be the only reason to worry about being able to tell if they are preban or not!

It's not like your wondering of they are drop free mags or not, wheather they are metal lined or not and such legit questions.

In all seriousness, those Ksomething mags are pretty good. They dont hang up and have all functioned well the times i've used them. Real good fit and finish to the batch i got.

Maybe I dont understand the law on this one. I thought a person could own a preban magazine here in CA without any trouble and I thought a person could buy a used preban mag from someone either in or out of state as long as it was preban.

Nope you don't. Do yourself a favor and read up on it.

It's in a sticky at the top of the forum page.

Preban/Postban means didly squat in CA. You either had them before the ban, or acquired them through legal means after the ban.

States like NY, NJ, etc use the term "Preban" and allow for the sale of preban mags up to this day (although they are expensive...)

As far as Korean mags, I got a few KCI & Glock std capacity mags when I bought a G19 OD a year ago (6 mags: 2 glock 10s, 2 Glock 15s, and 2 KCI 15s + glock for $500 shipped) a the quality is fine.

There are many youtube and gunshop reviews on them. They work fine.

But if you don't have mags to rebuild mags you had before the ban than rebuild kits are just that, kits.

              Hope that answers your question.
