Springfield Loaded Beavertail

Any suggestions on who can weld up SA stainless frame and fit Ed Brown b/t
or will something else fit w/o welding ????

Well, the one that Springfield includes with the gun fits without any modification...

Maybe I'm missing something. But I think the Loaded works fine as-is. Desired modifications would be internal, if you want a lighter trigger or more accuracy (not that I think there's anything wrong with either one on the stock gun, but I don't compete with a pistol).

Look for a beavertail with the correct radius. I don't recall exactly what the specifics are, but it is something like the springfields are a .220" radius and others are .250"

Usually only minor fitting of the beavertail is necessary with the correct part.

Smith & Alexander make a beavertail for the Springfield's .220 radius. They also sell the jig to file the frame.

The SA loaded b/t is all f@@@ed from the factory,The S&A .220 is for the mil spec frames only,the other .250 radius b/t don't fit and require weld build up.
I could send it back to SA for like $50 or buy a b/t and fit it myself if no welding is req'd.The loaded frame has a compound radius.
