Sac Area- Update on a local FFL...

EDIT- If you have business or pending business with Forensic Studies Group in Sacramento, I just learned that the Owner/Principal has passed away. I had pending business with this business and was upset that I was not heard back from anyone associated with the business.

Thanks to the other Cal Gunners for the update on this.

Bob passed away a couple of weeks ago unexpectedly.

I'm not sure who is handling his affairs. The FFL listing does list another person under another FFL at the same address, but I don't know that he can complete anything started by Bob.

I have an inquiry in to a friend to check on this. PM me with contact information and I'll let you know what I find out.

Sadly, he passed away not too long ago.

Wow, I just spoke to him on 1/18/12, received his FFL email and he died on 1/19. Ok, thanks for the heads up and I will edit my original posting.

          Thanks

            Bob Venkus passing

            Friends:

There seems to be some questions as to what happened to the transactions.

Frank and Bruce have contacted every entry in the A&D book
where firearms had been received. After Bob's passing,
any firearms that had arrived have been returned to the
distributors or to whom the guns had originated from.

All personal guns have been divided up into the family.

Any questions, we will try to answer them -

We miss Bob, worked with him and shot with him a number of times
