    Hangun transfer question

A guy at work has a handgun to sell and I agreed to buy it. He says his dad originaly bought it 7-8 years ago here in california, but gave it to him a couple years ago and didnt do any paperwork.

I assume there wont be any issues with a PPT to me just want to be sure, any input?

No issues to PPT, him to you.

But he should have filed an OPLAW form when he got the handgun from his father.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!
