    Scuff Marks inside barrel

I dont have a camera able to take a picture of it, but after cleaning my relatively new (~700 rounds) 1911 i have spotted what I can best describe as scuff marks inside the barrel. This is my first handgun so I haven't had prior experience to draw on and was hoping you guys could better inform me if this is normal or if I should be calling up customer service.

For reference, as far as I know its not affecting the accuracy, and I'm mostly bringing this up as a "I don't want this to get worse" question.

Pictures will help, but... Are you sure they are scuff marks? What kind of bullets did you use. If you used hard cast, they could be lead residue still remaining in the barrel. What kind of bore brush did you use? Don't use stainless bristles as they will eventually damage your bore. Use copper bristled brush. You can shoot thousands upon thousands of rounds before you wear out your barrel...a little scuff mark will not ruin it.
