    DOJ "safe list" question

The only way you can get handguns NOT on the non-kitty killer list is to be an LEO, buy it thru PPT or be an FFL dealer, correct?

    That's pretty much it.
    /Chris

I have a perfect Burning Man attendance record: zero.

You do know there are more guns in the country than there are in the city.
Everyone and their mums is packin' round here!
    Like who?
    Farmers.
    Who else?
    Farmers' mums.

So if an LEO buys a handgun not on the "safe" list, tires of it and wants to sell it, am I allowed to purchase it?

Yup. Unfortunately for me, it has to be active LEO; my retired Deputy Sheriff dad, doesn't count. Shame.

Sweet on the "Yes" and "Lame" on the retired dad part.

          Double lame at that.
