    Glock Gen 2

I have been asking about online purchases and ffl transfers. Well here it is, I pick it up on the 13th. Used Glock 19 gen 2, 2 pin. It has nights sights that are burned out. Robertson's Trading Post. $389. minus $15 dollars they discounted for the 15 round magazine. Plus $35 for the Dros. Not bad I think.

I already have a gen 3 that I keep stock for my CCW. I wanted one to experiment with as far as trigger mods, springs, stippling and the sort.

I'm thinking of picking up a Glock 19, and it would be the first in my collection. Good luck with it.

Don't worry about the burned out night sights. If they are Trijicon or Mepros, they will replace them for free, regardless of age. $389 is a killer price.

Send her to GLOCK for an update and a slide refinish. Not much money.

Wow, really?! That's one reason I never bought nightsights with tritium...the fact that they are exhausted after X years.

OP, I think you got a great deal!

Only if they are still in warranty. I just did this a few months ago, it costs $18 per lamp (dot) to have them replaced. Go to Trijicons website, request a RMA authorazation number and send the slide in.

Just my opinion, but I would keep the Gen2 stock and experiment with the Gen3. Especially if you're gonna alter the frame in any way...it's easier to replace the Gen3. I, and many who have tried it, love the Gen2 frame without the finger grooves compared to the gen3.

I bought mine used with dead night sights as well. I replaced them with a new set of Trijicons.

Thanks for the info guys. It was $374. They discounted the 15 bucks cause they sent it without a magazine. It would have came with a 15 rounder a no no. I told them over the phone I was not LE and could not have over 10 rounds so they knocked 15 dollars off the price.
