Wilson combat mag liability statement. Funny.

I purchase few wilson combat mags.
Then I saw the liability statement on back. I thought it was funny and wanted to share.

It reads: "We recommend that this product be installed by competent gunsmith. No liability is expressed or implied for damages or injury which may result from improper installation or use of this product. Installation of these product may nullify the warranty of the firearm manufacturer. We strongly recommend that the safety and operation of your modified firearm be throughly checked by an accredited gunsmith."

I'll remember that next time I need to do a tactical reload. From now on, I'll ALWAYS have a "competent gunsmith" on hand to swap mags for me!

I can't say as I blame them for doing this no matter how silly it looks. One never knows where a trial lawyer is going to find the hook he needs to sue you into oblivion.

Seeing as how I am a "competent gunsmith", I suppose that means I can reload without anyone's permission.

Ain't that the truth. These days you can sue for getting sold hot coffee, or getting lung cancer from smoking cigarettes! There's no more personal accountability. I'd like to see something that says "Not liable for your stupidity".
