I picked up a Lone Wolf conversion barrel at the SHOT Show, and have had a couple of chances to take it out. Not that big a Glock fan (Horrors!) but I instruct pistol classes, and am often asked to provide one as a service to shooters. I had a bunch of 19 mags laying around, so why not? I thought I'd try putting the barrel in my 23.
First time out was to see if the thing worked. I put 400 rounds through it without a single bobble, glitch, or hiccup. Not even any erratic extraction.
I was suitably impressed, and let a handful of shooters use it last weekend. About 600 rounds downrange, of everything from high end defense ammo to elderly military ball.
Not a single hitch. Zip, zero, nada, niente, nikto, nichivo.
Your mileage may vary, but I'm pleased and impressed.
Still not all that big a fan of the pistol, but I could learn to like it, though.
Cheers,
Longbow
