Gen 4 Glock 34 review :)

I believe your closer because my LEO trigger was at least 5.5 lbs. Tried to measure it with a trigger pull scale and it was over 8lbs before it clicked. So I just put a Fulcrum in it with a 3.5lb firing pin spring.Comment

Glad to see you're able to tighten it up. I was going to make a snide reply about the 226 being more "accurate", but you don't seem like the type who really believes that.
My G34 is gen3, and after trying a million different configurations I settled on a skeletonized striker w/light spring, LWD 3.5 connector and steel guide rod w/variable spring weights. Oh, and the most important mod IMO, the $8 Hogue Handall. I got it breaking at 3.5 lbs consistently, and shoot great, small groups. I'd love to get my hands on a gen4, but I've dedicated 2012 to training and reloading.... NO NEW GUNS.Originally posted by thud916I have to admit I like carrying anything new I buy around the house with me. Wife caught me taking a growler wearing body armor and holding a Spike Tactical.Comment

I might play with the connector and springs once I get more used to it, right now its user error and the fact a glock doesn't fit my hands as well as a 226 with hogue grips... I will try my handall next time out... I don't believe either gun is inherently more accurate, but I am definitely more accurate with my p226... I can shoot that gun with my eyes closed. On a side note, I shot my friends 1911 Kimber TLE on the same outing... one ragged hole... makes me want a 1911, but .45 is too rich for my poor blood right now. I consolidated to 9mm only (and .22 for fun)... dropped .40 cal altogether and never going back. If I add, it'll be .45 for a 1911.NRA Lifetime Member

Gen 4 Glock 34 review :/
Picked mine up a couple weeks ago as well.
This being my first Glock, I can't compare to previous versions. That being said, the ergo's of this gun are terrible. I think the biggest prob comes from the misplaced back-strap hump, the handall does help but not that much. My first handgun was a CZ-75, that gun feels like it was made for MY hand.
I know all you Glock lovers will have your panties in a bunch, I'm just stating my observations and experience. Different strokes different folks.Comment
