Check out the Hogue G10 grips for the P220. A little on the expensive side but they're nice and they provide a really solid grip.

Sig announced back in October that they were releasing E2 grips for the P220. If you look on Sig's website on the P220R, it already shows the E2 kit, even though all the P220Rs are still shipping with the standard grips. Sig was attempting to bring an example to SHOT Show but it didn't happen. They are working on releasing them soon.

Thanks guys. Saw them on the site earlier today thats what sparked my interest. Fogured they have to come out with a kit one of these days. Good to here. I bought the black elite aluminum grips for my combat on here a few months, sweet grips but a little slim.

The 220 is pretty thin already, I'm not sure I'd trade the bit more reach that the E2 grip provides for the lower hand positioning it requires.

The Hogue aluminum and G-10 grips are already very thin and don't require the new mainspring strut to clear them

agreed , frank have you tried the g10 grips?

i was going to get the e2 kit for my p226, but hated id have to stick with the grip and i couldnt use aftermarket grips so i went ahead and purchased g10 grips and it makes it alot slimmer! i was amazed, grip is excellent!

I have the Sig P220 Slim grips on my Elite. They are indeed slimmer and feel great in my medium sized hands. The texture is excellent too with fine stippling that is slight abrasive. They are only $16.

I bought my Elite used and it came with the Sig slim grips. I did not get the Sig/Hogue aluminum grips with it and other than being able to sell them here I don't miss them. Aluminum heats up and I live in a hot area. I like the look of the Hogue Extreme G10 grips but they are expensive!
