XD40SC purchase question

I can get a used XD40SC with XML light for $619. I'm tempted to buy it, but it seems the price is a little high. Should I offer less?

I can't decide if I should get it or a 1911 first. I only have an XD9 Tac, and Buck Mark currently.

im not sure how much the lights run but most Xds that i have seen with reg. sights run about 525-550ish new. if you can find a place the price matches then its even better.

i just got a new XD9SC for 449..

You can get the light for $94, I'm looking for good deals on XD40 SC my self, trying to find a night sight one but I don't think it's on the list, so trying to find dealer who will order one for my son who is a LEO, but usually the XD40 SC I see are around the $550 mark, I did see some yesterday for $469, I called today to put one on hold, they were all sold,

I've also seen them for sale out of state including the light for about $515 shipped, so if you have a dealer who will bring it in for you cheap, that would be a better deal,

depending on where you live, it might be a steal or over priced, how much is a new one in your area?

But they are hard to find, if you like it, make them an offer, you have nothing to loose, and an XD-40 to gain.

if you can find someone to price match you then Great Outdoors in Redding is where i got mine for 449. Its the 4" thats on "sale" (has been this price for a month and a half or so) but they honor the price for a SC too, atleast in my case

YMMV though...
