    Moving back to Calif question...

All my handguns are on the "safe list". It is my understanding that I have 60 days to inform the Cal DOJ that I am here and in posession of these handguns. Correct?

      And this one -- http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/Mo..._with_firearms

Since you are moving BACK, you don't need to re-register any handguns that were already run through DROS here - they're already in the system. Anything you bought during your sojourn to the United States, however, needs the form/fee.

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Could be weather, the beach, family, friends, jobs in certain industries (like mine: biotech). There are hundreds of reasons why California is a great place to live. Granted, there are negatives such as the gun laws and cost of living, but the upsides (for me) vastly outweigh the downsides.
