    Favorite CCW Caliber

    looking to see what the majority favorite CCW caliber is if the caliber you like isnt there add it on the replies

      i didnt know if that was worth adding, im not sure how many people carry a 22, let alone a .25

        38 Special in a J frame though a compact 9mm Kahr has been in the safe for the last 8 years waiting to be added on the permit . I never seem to put the renewal and the bring in the gun to the sheriffs to get it added on together. A 40 or 45 to me has too much recoil for a light compact pistol so does a over 125 gn bullet +P in a airweight

          i see what you say, but im partial to .45 i have a S&W 4506-1 that if i can get a permit is what id carry

                They are certainly more potent overall.

                      I don't have a LTC, but whenever I get one it will be 9mm. It's enough power, but still can get smaller, easy-to-carry pistols.

                        I voted .45 ACP mainly because 2 of the 3 pistols listed on my license are Glock 45s (Model 30SF and 21SF) but, the one caliber that is always with me is the .380 courtesy of my Ruger LCP. The .45s are used when traveling and/or when the circumstances dictate but, as noted.....the .380 is always with me.
