I'm split between these 4 grips. It's for my RIA 1911a1, the grips I have in there are way too smooth/bulky for me.

Well if you want help deciding we probably need more information. I personally have 1/2 checkered rosewood grips for my ria 1911 tactical for a best of both worlds thing.Comment

You forgot something - like the list or even links.
The least expensive slim wood grips that I'm aware of are from Chip McCormick and run about $51-60 shipped to California depending on who you buy from. I've owned the CMC grips and they look pretty decent. My personal favorites slim checkered grips are from Esmeralda. Esmeralda makes beautiful grips (see below) but you'll pay $80-110 plus $15 for shorter grip bushings and screws. Swapping in a short trigger can also help those of us with small hands.

I HATED my stock RIA tactical grips. They felt too hard and too thin. I just installed the Hogue grips yesterday and WOW they are amazing ! Feels way softer on the hand, and easier to grip."To disarm the people is the most effectual way to enslave them."
