    State to State Transfer

    I want to sell a handgun to an individual in Alabama. He has provided me with the Alabama dealers FFL. Can I ship the gun directly to the Alabama FFL or do I have to have a California FFL ship to the Alabama FFL? One gun shop said I could ship direct to the FFL and another one told me it had to go through a California FFL. Does anyone know what the deal is?

      you can ship direct as long as you have verified that he is indeed an FFL holder

          use the ez check link on the batfe web page. Be aware some ffl's will not accept shipments from a non-licensee.

              Be sure you confirm with the recieving dealer that he will recieve from a non-licensee. Many will not.
