cheap tactical light

I was looking at different tactical lights and I can't find anything under a hundred bucks or so that looks like its worth dropping the money on. I keep thinking about a g2 flashlight with picatinny rail mounts for my ruger kp345ptr but I can't tell if it'll fit or not. I got a cheap laser and about 4-5 rounds later it would come flying off the end from the recoil. I also don't want this to happen to my light. Does anybody know a good light less than 100 that will work on a .45 without coming off???

i have a couple of the m3 lights. they are fine but i would save a few $ more and get the TLR1 it's much better.

+1 on the TLR-1. I like the light color much better than the M3 but then again I like LED lights. No bulbs to break and replace. I have one on two different Glocks and 1 on my Remington 870. When I take my Kel-Tec SU16 CA as a camp rifle, I mount the TLR-1 on the railed forearm.

Jump on the one being offered to you here as you can get them a little cheaper on places like ebay from time to time but you have to wait for the right one to come along. Buying here you have a member supporting you for any customer service issues and you support him by purchasing from him.

my experiance has been that after shooting a gun a bit, the cheaper flashlights fail. the metal bits that the batteries contact can get dented in and you have a power failure. or the batterise bumps tend to dimple themselves and fail to make contact.

so, if you use a cheap flashlight, remove it for range practice. mine was on a shotgun so it took some serious shock abuse. started failing after about 15 rounds of bird shot. a semi auto with mild recoil the flashlight would last longer.
