So sac has this stupid law if you buy ammo in the city limits you need id and have to put your thumb print down I'm not really in to that so looking for ways around it.Also am kinda lazy I guess I could drive 20 min away not have to do that.

Most places will not ship to Sacramento city zip codes because of the city's mandate to copy your i.d. and fingerprint.

However, there are some places that will ship. I just don't know them off the top of my head.

Some websites now are refusing to ship ammo to CA, period. I live in Orange County, I don't think I can have it shipped here. I could be wrong.

Also San Francisco requires ammo to be sent to a licensed FFL dealer.

I've bought 9mm fmj rounds and 12ga 00 bucks from cheaperthandirt.com. They have no problem shipping to Irvine.

CTD will NOT ship to Sacramento.

Cabela's will ship to Sacto, at least they have shipped ammo to me multiple times for a Sac city zip code.

I've ordered from Cabelas and never had any issues getting ammo. But I live in Elk Grove. My buddy in Sacramento was not able to order ammo online but not sure which site he was using.

Never had a problem getting supplies shipped in. Some outfits ship with an 'adult signature required' option.

sgammo.com, jgsales.com, midwayusa.com and others seem to have no troubles shipping to OC.

Love to know where. I have purchased ammo many times in Sacramento, without this happening!
