Bedside holsters?

Hey guys just wondering if any of you know any good bedside holsters or a good place I can keep my sig at night so that I can get to it fast in case anything goes down, I used to have it on the side of my bed but my new matress prevents me from doing that anymore so I'm trying to get some ideas of where I can keep it, any info or ideas would help thanks-

I don't use one myself, but my friend cut down an old belt, and used an old OWB holster and strapped it to the bed post just between the bed and the nightstand.

Another option is a cheap nylon holster from any online store and some velcro tape from your local hardware store.

same, except I put mine on the computer desk instead. I lock the gun every time I leave the house, and take it out and put it on my desk when I'm home

I'm surprised at the initial response. I keep mine in a small Sentry safe next to my side of the bed... electronic lock with 5-digit combination. I also use it as my ammo safe, and can access my G19 outfitted with TLR-3 in about 1.5 seconds. What about silent intruders in the night having access to your gun?

Granted, at my house they would first have to get by multiple locks, nosy neighbors and a pit bull... but better "safe" than sorry.

I have a Titan safe on the bed frame. If you have a blackhawk serpa holster you can get the qd kit and make a bracket for in between the mattress and box spring.

Mine's in a little shelf just under the top of my nightstand, no drawer to open but it's not in plain view and I can instinctively and immediately put my hand on it w/my eyes closed.

As far as the silent intruders, if they get anywhere near my gun, they've already succeeded in getting past my bionic-eared dog who can be at the opposite end of my 1600sg. foot house and still hear me trying to quietly sneak open a bag of Cheesy-Poofs INSIDE the cupboard in an attempt to muffle the sound so I don't have to share.

This would mean that they are either Ninja's or space aliens form the future who can beam down and materialize at my bedside, so resistance is futile. (and they'd be able to get into a little electronic bedside safe.

^This!^ plus an alarm system, plus a security bar on the front door and another on the bedroom door, plus secured windows means that I probably have enough warning to make and eat breakfast before confronting the intruder.

I keep my bedroom pistol in the drawer next to my bed when home because I don't have (or allow) kids in my house. But if I had rug rats I'd be using an electronic pistol safe next to my bed. Making the weapon too accessible means that you can grab it mid-dream or grab it before realizing that the sound that woke you is the girlfriend coming back from a 3am potty break. Keeping it in a drawer gives you that buffer.
