    Sig X-5 Magazines

Sorry if this thread is already out there, but i couldnt find it...
Since the X-5 only has hi capacity magazines made for it im forced to used p226 10 round magazines, but with such a large mag well it becomes a hassle to use them with the aforementioned mag well, is there any aftermarket floorplate i can use in place of it or am i just stuck without a wide magwell?
    Thank you for your time

I don't know of anyone that makes them aftermarket, but you can switch out the grips for non-magwell ones, or get the ($$$) magwell compatible ones from Sig as rebuild kits and block them to 10 rounds.

Also, I think there was another thread about this like a week ago, maybe there is more info in that thread?

You could take the magwell off or convert your standard capacity X5 mags to hold only hold ten rounds. I don't think there is a company that makes a base plate to make it work with that magwell.

LAK supply on CG can sell you rebuild kits.

Exile Machine will sell any mag to CA with no fees for breaking down into rebuild kits.

Today, we are ecstatic to announce that Lunde Studio acquired Exile Machine. Exile Machine is another forerunner in the gun industry, boasting 10 years of substantial professional experience.

Looks like they are out of stock on the X5 right now, though...

I went to Tap Plastics and bought the cheapest 1" raw rectangular stock, have them make a cut. Made 4, sanded them down, cleaned, and double back taped to the bottom of the 10 rounds mags.

Not elegant, but works like a champ and less than 10 bucks for all 4.

You can see the block in this picture.
