I'm a Sig guy and am considering buying my 1st glock. Is $440 a good price on a used glock 19? I can buy new for $500. Should I buy the used one?

Here its 540 with tax and DROS, so its not a terrible price actually. Was 440 including the DROS op?
And good choice, I'm a G17 guy but love my Sigs too. A 9mm Glock is a well tuned machine budd. -

Thats still not bad, brand new 3rd gen? I'd go for it most def. Good deal. Even with tax and DROS your coming out below my price which is not including some of that.Comment

Yes the new is a gen 3 for $500 plus tax and DROS with all that comes with buying new

Might as well get the new for that price difference. You get more mags and YOU get to break the weapon in.
OR......you can wait on it and buy a lower-priced used elsewhere. If you're not in a rush, wait on buying a used 3rd Gen G19 (or just about any other model). They're everywhere and you should be able to find one in good condition for cheap.
I spent only $549 for a hardly-used HK USP compact 40 LE trade in. Came with Tru Glo night sites. The gun was hardly fired and I got it at that price.

Are you purchasing a used G19 from an FFL or a PPT? $440 is a decent used price but with one mag it doesn't make it a good price. You can get used mags for $20 so 2 more mags would be $440 plus tax and DROS from an FFL plus two used mags would be around $541 OTD depend on tax rates and where you get the mags. New would be $500 which includes 3 mags plus tax and DROS would be $566. I'd get new.sigpic
